  • From 1986 to 1989 he worked for a construction company in Bergamo, where he worked as a D.L. public works of particular importance.
  • In 1990 he opened his design studio in Casazza (Bg), dedicating himself purely to architecture, urban planning and environmental design activities.

  • In 1994 he set up the company DISEGNO, which deals with design at 360 ° and in 1997, together with some partners and collaborators of the firm, he founded the Massimo Facchinetti company designer by Prototipi sas, interested in industrial consultancy for companies and in the realization of projects in the field of design and environmental design.

  • In 2004 he founded Facchinetti & Partners with his friends Carlo Bono and Alessandra Boccalari dealing mainly with architecture and urban planning in the public sphere, with particular attention to the activity of eco-sustainable building and environmental design, a research that he has been performing for years as a contract professor in the University of Milan, Florence, Brescia and Turin. The company is also active in consulting on planning and environmental protection, sustainability in construction and technological innovation. Particular attention is paid to the energy benefit, which makes buildings sustainable in terms of energy. The studio specializes in environmental design, which concerns the integration of artefacts in their context and which has among its foundations the correct and considered use of materials. In the design of Massimo Facchinetti, color is considered relevant as the form itself, qualifying as the “fourth dimension”. The projects always consider the end user, making the concepts of “design for all” and “customization” their own. Another peculiarity of the study is the great interest in the maximum eco-sustainability of the products designed in the objective of total quality and energy benefit.
